Nadine Michèle Payn is a writer and retired clinical psychologist. She hosted a popular psychology call-in show in San Francisco in the 1980s, was a contributing editor to the Berkeley Insider magazine, and has written for a number of other publications. She developed a taste for travel at age 15 and loves to write about her many adventures and misadventures around the globe. Her latest daring journey was moving from Berkeley, CA, to Houston, TX, where she lives with her husband and two cats.
